Green Mushroom

     Another year, another  milestone completed. This is gonna be the first and last journal for this year. It has been quite busy, i was able to go on a vacation which i really needed to replenish and take a break after a two streak years of working my guts off in a very lonely place or which i can call "our company".

     Just yesterday when i took the time to read on the last post from last years year end blog. Right after reading it, it did capture my attention of writing again maybe if not every month at least once a year since i am really not a good and avid writer and these are only souvenirs that i consider, once a year is the least that i can do.

     On the other hand, here we go; So "how are you? "I'm fine". Its one of the most familiar phrase you're gonna hear in our office, not only in our office but maybe everywhere you go, in the groceries, taxi drivers, clients, restaurant and so on. It's so usual that its becoming a routine and its somehow getting worn-out that you don't even know whats the real intention anymore. Hashtag JUSTSAYING.

     To start it off; It was a busy, happy, fun, nostalgic, lovely, kind, tragic and memorable year for me, again, to mention; the death of a good friend, a loving relative and the destruction of a super typhoon to more than half of the nation and claiming thousands of innocent lives. I haven't contributed anything to give my reconciliation and pay tribute to the souls of our beloved but then i have lit a candle and say a prayer. My girlfriend ask me "why did you stop writing?", my answer? It's not that i stopped, but maybe because i think i am too much lazy, laid back and relaxed right now and my writing abilities only appears during the lowest and darkest moments of my life, nahh which is not true, since i am writing right now with my heads all up and smiling. I have classified my types of writing from;

1. Non-sense writing
2. Inspirational writing
3. Negative writing
4. Revenge writing &
5. Positive writing

     Most of the time i consider my journals as writing number (1), because i love reading them again and again from time to time to recall all the stuff and memories of my life, where in some point i gave an example that somehow some of my friends who read these can relate to the scenarios and suddenly they are now writing number (2). Then there is a time when i don't feel much better and the words are rubbish now i am talking about writing number (3). Next time i am angry and i need to burst it out somewhere so i picked up my battle keyboard carried my deadly mouse wear my night vision monitor goggles and started writing, and that is writing number (4). Now that i am done blubbering out my ruffled and agitated feelings, focus on writing number (5). Then if you can't understand it, just consider the writing as number (1) naaahh.

     A new year means a new beginning. Anything that is new makes us so excited. There is an eagerness in every action. One cannot simply have fun without starting anywhere, and life is all about something, and that something must be fun and fun is absolutely present anywhere.

    So what's in store for us this coming year? We can start writing our wishlist or plan
or maybe a guide or itineraries for the whole year, but how do you start brand new? You got to aim for something. With all the expense vast growing, the demands of earning high is substantial, we are all hungry and committed to look for the best job offer regardless somehow of the job description itself as long as it support our financial stability. Getting a new job is on the list for me this year, and i am crossing my fingers twice for this.

     The years about to end and again its not the end of the world, yes we all have our share of massive information about this and that and the rattle attack then social media comes along then suddenly out of nowhere your instantly equipped with these rough information that are slowly feeding on to your wondering mind. I'm not against to any of these social media frenzies which in fact i do have several accounts for the record. A lot of prophecies and stuff about science and predictions and chaos and war and hell was even explained by a chemistry student which in fact was really interesting and you might want to check it out here (http://cognitive-edge.com/blog/entry/3655/hell-explained-by-a-chemistry-student/) very intelligently humored and informative, and i am pretty sure you're all gonna disagree with all of these and simply go on with your life. Life is full surprise, its very unpredictable. You'll die once but you'll never leave twice, people might try to kill you but at least you survived. The time you spent with your beloved family and merry friends is the one that really counts.

     The Encounter; Taxi drivers are quint essential part of everyday commuters like me, and the stories of every drivers sets a distant ways of how you can relate and respect different cultures and behaviors. The experience; there will always be this small conversation once you enter a cab, and each conversations are distinct and contrasting but will all end up where the driver complains about the traffic and how he hates his job. Some will tell stories about their lives in their homeland of how hard it is to live back their, of how many wives they have, how many girlfriends they have, or how much it cost to have an Asian girlfriend geez. While others are funny and some are bully. Some are serious while others are curious but nonetheless others stays quiet and speechless. One of the low-highlight (what?) being a mediocre on a daily basis, i got an abridged pep talk to this driver which i immediately labeled the jack of all trades in terms of language spoken. He's quite a learner so there's no doubt that he knows my language as well (FILIPINO), which then he begins commencing and showing off his Tagalog style of talking in his Pakistani distinct abbreviations and I'm quite impressed. Then I begin to correct some words and some diction then suddenly he said "Your my teacher". I was like, hey, now i got two students with an "S". I told him about the "tea boy" in our company who calls me his teacher  as well, and he was like appreciating and agreeing that maybe i was a good teacher after all. So who's next? The trivia; UAE as the country's liberal and open minded society compared to its neighbors which attracted foreign investors and employers from all over the world, Emiratis (local) are outnumbered in their country at a ratio of 11 to 1, expatriates are dominant in population workforce and labors. The probabilities; there is an 85% possibility rate of interactions between 8 different nations by simply walking in the streets in an hourly basis.

For the year end; points to ponder.
Carry on and live the life to full, we may never have what others do but the life that is entrusted to us is enough to be thankful and celebrate in the newest and olden days.

Happy nu year!
