The Working Class Hero: All Abroad

Just when you finally thought of pampering your mind or even telling yourself that you've had enough, or when your cluttered and bloated with these magnificent ideas and information baffling in and out of your senses, might just be the perfect timing for jotting them down and extracting some edible facts that might be useful, somehow.

March of 2014 started pretty much unusual partly normal in an average. I felt a clogged overflowing of words that slightly triggered an emotion of distress. It felt weird but nonetheless as a normal individual there's not much that i can do but absorb and look for an outlet.

ABROAD; Filipinos are amongst the few who already consider working overseas or living in foreign countries for a wealthy and practical living for the greener pasture. The incessant increase of migration to various wealthy countries which utmost prioritize in search for a better job. Top most reason is "MONEY". In the 60's and 90's they use to make good music irrelevantly its not our topic. Those mentioned era's in my opinion were considered the peak of abroad prosperities.(IMHO) Filipinos at that time were somehow labeled as "SOSYAL" (CLASS ACT). Mostly men who were skilled, engineers and major labors are the one who are given the opportunity to work abroad. Then follows the "KASAMBAHAY" (MAID/NANNY) and all this wide diverse jobs that Filipino's can tremendously handle with staggering patience and sacrifice just to provide the needs for their loved ones.

FILIPINO TRAITS; Flexible, easy to adopt, fast learner, hard-as-a-turtleshell-worker, omnipotent patience, talented, A+ in english and more. But why do they chose to work on foreign countries? One can admire the traits and probably consume the act of patriotism towards the benefit of his own land, but rather we decided not to. Whose to blame? Mr. CURRENT President? Political tycoon dynasty are never ending stories. An act of prevalent scenes defines Philippine governing. The mass decide who will rule what to rule and when to rule. Stereotypical monologues from various wealthy accomplished leaders (PUNONG BAYAN)  are dose of daily media coverage on a daily basis. (Google - Philippine Politics).

CULTURAL STRUGGLE; Facial expressions are easily distinguished base on the fact of initial reaction and abrupt eye contact, one can disagree, agree or maybe completely silent speechless. Language barrier scale's an indefinite proportion thru human social connection not unless a country has been colonized by western civilization or subsidized by political bureaucrats, then english is consciously active. In a bowl of mixed nation, either of which would stand out to be the dominant of its class which highly raise the subject of racism. In a general perspective of which the fact still exist, some are still unaware while others  neglect others are still facing the reality of its existence.

Cultural indifference is one of the biggest factor that cultivates the sense of interaction between diversified nations. Filipinos are almost present in any part of the world, some of which; Canada, USA, Europe, NZ, UAE, KSA and a lot more to mention, and all this Filipinos suffered from the ill-fated traumatic experience called "HOMESICK" though some can affirm that they never even once in their foreign life felt these. Working abroad was never as fun as compare to all the pictures you see on their facebook page, from the places you've seen, the snowfall and the furry coats, the coldest and the hottest recorded temperature on your smartphone's screenshots, the chocolates and all the fancy foods, from the tallest building to the most creative and wonderful theme-park, all of these temporary amusement are being showcased by our friends and family, which perfectly portrays the real status behind the real aching smile of every single working Filipino. Its not simple, there's no excuse, generally you're here for one good reason, and that is to "work". You have to earn for a living. Digging on foreign land doesn't come in handy, the battle between our physical, mental and emotional awareness comes with a great responsibility. Its not a considerable place for the fainthearted.

THE PRICE; With hard work comes better results, but with a highly compensated work comes bigger responsibilities. The harder you work the higher you get and the demand of human satisfaction increase as well. For some Filipinos, sending well-earned money to their families back home is already consider priceless. Providing enough source to your family, putting meals on the table, and having a healthy relationship makes it all worthy.

THE WORKING CLASS HERO; Some of us may not be satisfied with our current jobs, some of us are complaining from 9 to 5, some may have bigger issues only they could know, but one thing's for sure; there's no such thing as perfect, stress free, issue free, asshole-colleague free, perfect boss company. Its probably how you handle your options well enough to free yourself somehow away from all these autocrats that manipulates your behavior towards them. I could always say that patience is a f@#%ng virtue.
